For many, the idea of Visiting Eretz Yisrael is life long dream; a line item in their bucket list. Unfortunately, many of the same people that dream of visitng the Holy Land often postpone this lift changing journey for many reasons, the biggest of them being ‘safety’. I’m often asked “it’s it safe to visit Israel?”, and I always reply “you are safer in Israel than you probably are in Washington, D.C., our nations capital.”
In my personal experience ‘security’ is the forethought of everyone in Israel; which is rather different than the mindset of the many cities that I have visited throughout North and South America. Because I unequivocally believe this land to be an inheritance to Abraham and his decedents, I am also convinced… “He that keepeth Israel doth neither slumber nor sleep”.
As you peruse our page, and entertain the idea of fulfilling your dream, I’d like to jump start your visit with the following references, where you can start experiencing the wonders of Israel, right the heart of it all, Jerusalem.
- First, is my personal favorite, it’s an amazing panoramic view, and with the background worship music you are surely going to be swept away.
- Then then there is Kikar Tzion, a.k.a Zion Square I promise that you too will be left speechless if you ever experience the energy in this place at the closing of Havdalah (end of the Sabbath).
- Last, there is The Kotel, or the Western / Wailing Wall in the old city of Jerusalem.
I trust you’ll enjoy these as much as I do, and most of all, I hope they inspire you to make the journey with Conozca Israel.
